Meade, Dora Nadine a 35 year resident of Hawthorne passed away on Friday, March 4, 2005 in Hawthorne. Born in South Dakota September 28, 1937, Dora was 67 when she died. For twenty one years Dora owned and operated the local cocktail lounge ''Sam's Office''. She was active in the Hawthorne City Council Meetings as well as a generous supporter of various local charities. Dora spent many years bringing clothing and various items to the needy children in Mexico. Ensanada Mexico was her second home and she loved her time there.
