Dorothy Mae Boyer ,beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother passed away December 28, 2003. Born January 2,1921, Dorothy Mae Dickson, in Sioux City, Iowa. With her gentle spirit and loving ways she had raised and guided her family and friends in Manhattan Beach for the last 53 years. She volunteered her time as a pink lady at the South Bay Hospital and Manhattan Beach Historical Society. She is survived by her three sons Darryl Boyer of Norman, Oklahoma, Neil Boyer of Manhattan Beach, Ca. and Jeff Boyer of Manhattan Beach, Ca. She also leaves behind grandchildren Bryce, Taryan, Janette, Debbie, Scott, Keith and 8 great-grand children. Viewing is on January 1, 2004 from 5 to 7PM, with the funeral at 11 a.m. January 2, 2004 both at the White & Day Mortuary in Manhattan Beach. Interment will follow the service at Green Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Friends of the Manhattan Beach Library Society.
