McKeegan, Jr., Edward Joseph, 77, a 3 year resident of Redondo Beach and former resident of New York passed away on August 6, 2002 at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. Edward was born in Astoria, New York and served in the Army during World War II. Before retiring, he was a professor of biology at Niagara University for 42 years. Edward is survived by daughters, Mary F. Rogers of Fort Collins, CO and Theresa A. Goldstein of Phoenix, AZ; sons, Edward J. McKeegan, III of Manhattan Beach, Robert G. McKeegan of Redondo Beach, and Peter J. McKeegan of Redondo Beach; sisters, Joan Owen and Dorothy Frawley, both of New York; and 6 granddaughters, Tiffany, Brianna, Hannah, Jessica, Amanda, and Macy. He was predeceased by his beloved sister, Marie Duignan. A visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2002 from 4-8 pm with Vigil Service at 7 pm at White & Day Mortuary, 3215 Sepulveda Blvd., Manhattan Beach, CA and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 10, 2002 at 10 am at American Martyrs Church, 624 - 15th St., Manhattan Beach with burial following at Pacific Crest Cemetery.
