Elizabeth ''Betty'' A. Lynch

Elizabeth A. ''Betty'' Lynch passed away at her home in Santa Ana on Saturday September 18, 2004. Betty Gilmore was born in Los Angeles and attended St. Mary's Academy in Inglewood. She grew up riding her beloved ''Red Cars'' of the Pacific Electric Railway, on which her father Dan worked.

She married David Joseph Lynch, a Navy pilot, in 1946 at St. Cecilia's Catholic Church. As the Lynch Clan grew in size (7 children) they lived in Compton, Los Angeles, Gardena and Rancho Palos Verdes. Betty moved to Santa Ana in 1987.

She is preceded in death by her husband Dave (1973) and her angel of a daughter Janey(1967).

She is survived by son Dan and daughter-in-law Rebecca, son David and daughter-in-law Charlotte, daughter Kathleen Harris and son-in-law Gerry, daughter Patricia and son-in-law Jerry, son Dennis and daughter-in-law Libby, and son Kevin. The grandchildren are Ryan and Chris Lynch, Phil (wife Anita) and Jane Lynch; Candace Thompson (husband Scott); Tim Harris (wife Megan) and Pat Harris; and Sean Garzas. The great grandchildren include Abigail, Brady, Madeleine, Annika, Charles and Nick. Betty also is survived by three nepehws she considered sons, the Loether boys, Danny, Sean and Joey.

Vigil Service, Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 8PM and Funeral Mass Thursday, September 23, 2004 at 10AM both at St. St. John Fisher Church, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
