Elizabeth Anne Moody

Moody, (Betty) Elizabeth Anne, born in Stockton, California, on January 12, 1918, died at age 89 years on February 14, 2007. Betty was a longtime resident of Redondo Beach and retired from the City of Redondo Beach on July 15, 1977, after 24 years of service, which included secretary to the City Manager, Francis Hopkins. Preceded in death by her husband, Frank, of 67 1/2 years of marriage; survived by her daughter, Jeannie Watt Lindberg, of Redondo Beach; son, Frank Moody, of Bakersfield; grandchildren Frank Watt of Torrance, Gordon Watt, Jr., of Torrance, Robert (Bea) Watt, of Torrance, Chris (Rachael) Watt of Mission Viejo, Robin (Bobby) Aldridge of Bakersfield, Karen (Ryan) Wegis of Bakersfield, and Kellie (Frank) Durazo of Turlock; great grandchildren Jordan Lee of Bakersfield, Timmy and Nicole Durazo of Turlock, Makayla and Robert Watt, Jr, of Torrance, Megan and Olivia Wegis of Bakersfield, and Raurie Watt of Mission Viejo (due on June 17, 2007); plus her beloved Bumper aka Baby (cat) of 20 years.

Services will be on February 21, 2007, at 12 Noon at Pacific Crest Cemetery Chapel, 2701 W. 182nd Street, in Redondo Beach. A reception following the burial will be held at the Torrance home of Robert and Bea Watt.
