Emelia Luisa Garrity

Emelia Luisa Garrity died unexpectedly March 31, 2007. Her life was taken by a drunk driver. She was 36 years old and had 3 children - Jocelyn (16), Jacob (11) and James (6). Emelia was the second daughter of Franklin Sims and Angela Gomez. She had a sister, Sabrina Pena, whom she was very close to. Emelia was married for ten years to Jonathan Garrity, whom she separated from in 2003. For the last 2 years she was in a relationship with Damian Rennolds.

Emelia devoted her life to making her children happy. She always put them first. Emelia was the kind of person that always had a beautiful smile on her face. She was a very easy-going person, very fun to be around. She touched every life she entered. Emelia loved to go shopping with her daughter and friends and had a great sense of style. Viewing will be at the Rice Mortuary on Tuesday April 10, 2007 from 5:00 to 9:00 P.M. The memorial service will take place at Rice Mortuary on Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. and interment at Green Hills Memorial Park.
