So sorry to hear about the loss of Erick. My family knew Erick when he was a young man through his father, Jack Maddox. To Joycelyn and Marquita, please accept my deepest condolences. My family loved Jack and your family. Please take care and you will always remain in our hearts and prayers.

I'm sending my deepest condolences to The Maddox Family.  I am so sorry for your loss.  My life too has been blessed by Erick's presence.  While he will be missed physically,  he leaves behind friends and loved ones who are changed for the better, enlightened by his wisdom and touched with an indelible mark he has made in our hearts. Many of you already know the way I felt about Erick. He made me feel equally special. When he was diagnosed, he took the time to call me and say he didn't want me to learn from anyone else about his illness. We would talk periodically during his treatments. I don't believe I've ever met a more kinder and giving person as Erick. I will surely miss him. Rest on Brother.....which is what we called each other....until we meet again!❤

You will never know how he saved my life when I first moved to California for college. He made sure I stayed focused and graduated. Eric was a great guy and  human being. He will truly be missed.

I was so sorry to hear of Eric’s death.   Sending prayers and condolences to each of his family members.   Bulldogs Forever!

God called Erick home at his assigned time.  There are no more pain or doctor visits.  He stayed the course and finished the race. He is now in the presence of our Lord and Savior.
