Fausto Cabanilla Alarde

Fausto Cabanilla Alarde, born on November 2, 1939, in Narvacan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines, peacefully passed away on September 10, 2026. He lived a life marked by dedication, integrity, and deep love for his family. His journey was one of hard work, quiet strength, and enduring connections that reached far beyond borders.

Raised in Narvacan, Fausto grew up with strong values rooted in responsibility, humility, and loyalty. As a high school graduate, he built a distinguished career in the Philippines, eventually serving as a Chief Security Officer. Known for his discipline, fairness, and steadfast leadership, he earned the respect and trust of those who worked alongside him.

In April 2000, Fausto and his wife immigrated to the United States with the assistance and support of his sister-in-law, Martina & husband Geronimo Cabrera. While embracing a new chapter of life, he remained deeply proud of his Filipino heritage and maintained close ties with family and friends around the world. He found great joy in staying connected, sharing stories, photographs, and warm greetings with loved ones near and far.

Fausto appreciated life's simple pleasures. He enjoyed photography, preserving cherished memories and capturing the beauty in everyday moments. Family gatherings held a special place in his heart, bringing him happiness through laughter, good food, and togetherness. He also enjoyed solving word hunt puzzles, a pastime that reflected his patience, focus, and love of learning.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Leonora Alarde, who passed away on March 11, 2012. Their enduring love and partnership remained a source of strength and inspiration throughout his life.

Fausto is lovingly remembered by his family:

· Danilo, his wife Gloria, and their children Danica and Diane

· Nestor, his wife Imelda, and their children Christian, Camilla, and Cherry Mae

· Lina, and her husband Julius

Fausto will be remembered for his gentle nature, unwavering devotion to his family, and the kindness he extended to everyone he met. His legacy lives on through the memories he created, the photographs he captured, and the family he loved so deeply. Though he has departed this life, he will remain forever in the hearts of those who knew and cherished him.
