
A long time resident of Redondo Beach passed away October 28th in a Torrance Hospital. Born December 3, 1917 in La Mesilla, New Mexico, Frank was 87 when he died. He was preceded in death by wife Felipa Valencia. Francisco was a loving and generous son, husband, stepfather, step-grandfather, brother and uncle. He is survived by his loving sister Nina (Contreras) Gallardo.
Frank was a 30 year retiree of Chevron Standard Oil Co., in El Segundo; he was also a proud WWII Veteran.
Frank was a friend to many and many have passed before him. Some may remember him as a daily patron of Rod's Char-broiler in Redondo Beach. There he was known to everyone as "Pancho". Frisco will be remembered for his sense of humor, kind, generous spirit and his strong faith in God. He was loved by many and will be missed. Frisco will be greatly missed by his nieces Nina Theresa "Contreras" Ishida and Linda "Aguirre" Contreras who considered him a loving father figure. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 2nd 4:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M., Eulogy 7:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Service will be held on Thursday, November 3rd at 10:00 A.M. both at Rice Chapel in Torrance.
