DeGrazia, Frank, a 64 year resident of Hawthorne, CA passed away on Thursday, December 9, 2010. Born October 14, 1914 in Brooklyn, NY, Frank was 96 when he died and had spent the last 6 years loving his life at the Huntington Retirement Hotel with "the gang" as he put it. He had served in the Navy as a Pharmacist's Mate during WWII. Frank retired as a groundskeeper for Inglewood High School. His hobbies included enjoying swap meets and record collecting. He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Sue, in 2002. He is survived by his 3 children, Judy DeGrazia-Blomsterberg (Jan), Andrew (Eileen), and Tom (Janet Anderson), grandson Joe DeGrazia, and many friends that thought of him as Grandpa Frank. Come join his family and friends Sunday December 19, 2010 at Rice Mortuary in Torrance. Viewing from 11am to 1pm, service will begin at 1pm, followed by a reception in the Lighthouse Room until 4pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite cause in Frank's name. Dress casually - Hawaiian attire, comfortable clothing encouraged - to celebrate Frank's life.
