Will always remember Ricky being late for senior homeroom and jumping over the wall by the cafeteria and most times being caught by Mr. Roberts, but Ricky always had that big smile of his. I will miss him at our next reunion.

Ricky Roberts: the Cole Porter, Jimmy Cagney, Fred Astaire, George M. Cohan of our Class of ‘64! You gave it all with so much enthusiasm and that infectious smile. RIP one of the greatest Royals!

Ricky and shared a playpen when our mom's got together. I've only seen him at reunions for years, but I have a hole in my heart.

So sad to hear of Rick's passing. He was a joy to work with at LAX for many years. Sending sweet Joni my love and condolences.

Having known him for over 50 years I can say he was a true friend....my best friend.  He had class and was a man of character, a great husband, father and friend. He loved sports and music...the love of sports especially baseball came from his Father.... a  lifelong Yankee fan, and his love for music and theater arts came from his Mother....he had a great voice. He also ran track for Port Jefferson High and was a great sprinter. His pride and joy was his wife Joan and his daughter Quinn...my deepest condolences. Rick was a beloved member of the Class of 1964 of Port Jefferson High School. His theater and voice talents were legendary as was his enthusiasm for Port Jefferson and his loyalty to his lifelong friends. 
For Joan and Quinn we express our condolences. You were the focal points of his life.

We celebrated the memory of Rick at our Mid Reunion Reunion. While the news of his passing brought sadness, we quickly celebrated, lifting our glasses to celebrate the years we all spent time with Rick and Joan.  When he spoke of Quin you could see and hear the pride. We will miss him and smile at the wonderful memories we had knowing him over the years.
