Gail M. Jones

Joshua Tree, Calif. - Gail Margaret Jones went peacefully into the arms of the Lord on May 29th 2004 after a brave eight-month battle with leukemia. Gail was born on Dec. 20th 1959 to Kent Behunin who precedes her in death and Nancy Cort Behunin. Gail graduated Mira Costa High in 1980. Moved to Joshua Tree where she raised her two loving children Joseph and Amanda.

Gail's caring nature stayed with her from a very young age of rescuing wild birds and rabbits to her more mature years of caring for the elderly in their homes for the past ten years. She loved to sew, crochet, draw, paint, cross-stitch anything that is crafty she would do and do it well.

Gail will remain in the hearts of her devoted Husband Tom Jones; Children Joseph

Robert and Amanda Margaret Daugherty; Grandson Isaiah Daugherty; Parents Bert and Nancy Hunter; Sisters Judy Sewell and Janet Hunter; Brothers Steve and Jeff Hunter and Brandon Behunin. Gail's Nephew Johnathan Sewell received her into heaven.

Funeral Mass will be Saturday June 5th 2004 at 1O:OOam at American Martyrs Catholic Church, Manhattan Beach. The family would like to request donations be made to the Leukemia Society in lieu of flowers.
