

George joined the United States Marine Corps May 1966 to September 1978, serving in the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1969 as an interrogator/translator. He then went on to become a U.S. Secret Service Special Officer, a FAA Special Agent, a Special Deputy Sheriff in San Bernardino, until he retired as a part of TSA and the US Department of Homeland Security.
George is preceded in death by his parents Mildred (Harry) Kuraoka and Satoshi Kimura, as well as by his sister Hazel (Mario) Franceschini.
George is survived by his Wife Espie Kimura; Children: Francis (Ram) Villa, Georgjan (Josh) Becerra, Lillian Kimura, Jeffery Kimura, and Kristine (Jordan) Moore; and Grandchild Lucas Villa. He is also survived by his siblings: Harriet (BJ) Flowers and Flo (Scott) Nelson, as well as by his nieces and nephews: William (Aimee) West, Michelle Washington, Travis (Lindsay) Flowers, Stephen (Cori) Nelson, and Kimberly (Matt) Reyes.
George was loved and adored by many and will forever be missed. George's ashes will be brought back home to Hawaii to be laid to rest with his parents and sister at a later date.
