Jerry McFarlane, incredibly beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away on August 16, 2006 at the age of 69. Born December 21, 1936 in Sherwood, North Dakota, Jerry was raised in Kalispell, Montana and moved to Southern California in 1955. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from West Coast University, he later worked as Test Engineer Manager for Xerox Corporation for 30 years and served as treasurer of the Xerox Retirees Club West until his death. Jerry was a California PGA-certified golfer, avid runner, and radio-controlled airplane enthusiast. He is survived by his incredibly loving wife, Nancy; daughters, Leslie Jill Heider of Mission Viejo, Denean McKinney of Redondo Beach, Sandra Bell of Tustin; grandchildren Michael, Evan, Alaina, Erik and Trevor. Services will be held at Rice Mortuary, Torrance on August 20th, 2006 at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Cancer Society or Cure Autism Now.
