Salazar, Gladys, a 29 year resident of Los Angeles, CA passed away on Friday, October 3, 2008. She was born in Belize on September 23, 1920 and was 88 years old when she passed. Growing up in Guatemala, she loved educating others and for over 10 years taught English at many of the Community Colleges. When meeting new people she would always engage in a warm and friendly conversation and if given the opportunity, share God's word.
Gladys loved spending time with all of her family, going to the beach and always going to church. Her activities were not limited; she enjoyed dancing, singing and cooking for the family. When she had a moment to herself, she may be found listening to Freddy Fender or Gregg Morris. She will truly be missed.
She is survived by her 7 children, Thelma, Mauricio, Gilberto, Cesar, Sonia, William and Gladys, 1 sister, Beatrice, 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husbands, Adolfo Estrada and Gilberto Salazar.
