Gordon Hay Begg

Preceded in death by parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters. Survived by his wife Eleanor of Rancho Palos Verdes, daughter Chris (Ron) Young, Dana Point, CA, 2 grandsons Jeff and Kevin, both of California, sister Eleanor (Bill) Schmidt, Bellville, TX, 13 neices and nephews, 31 great neices and nephews, 23 great great neices and nephews.

Gordon joined the Navy in 1935 and served aboard the Battleship USS Pennsylvania 4 years. He reenlisted in the Navy during World War II. He lived in the South Bay area 61 years. He was employed by Garrett Air Research mfg. co. for 41 years, retiring in 1982. After retirement Gordon and Eleanor made many trips around the world. He was an avid L.A. Kings hockey fan.

Memorial Services will be held 2:00 pm Feb. 22,2001 at St. Peter by the Sea Presbyterian Church, 6410 Palos Verdes Drive South, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA.
