Born to Harry Leroy Cannon, Jr and Tommie Orene Braden in Nashville, Tennessee, Harry attended Cameron High School where he was a proud member of the Cameron Panther basketball team. He continued his basketball career at Fisk University. Shortly after graduating from Fisk, he relocated to Los Angeles, California. Employed by the Los Angeles District School System, he taught elementary school for 30 years. He was an avid sports fan as well as a talented and accomplished golfer. You better believe that wherever the heavenly golf courses are, he's there. He is survived by loving partner of 40 years, Irmgarde Johnson; devoted children, Stephen (Patricia) and Tori (Timothy Davis). Grandchildren, Gianni and Emanni Cannon, Cameron Ware, Demonteice and Latoria Henderson and Derrick Archibald. Four great grandchildren, sister, Patricia (Pat) Smith and neices Monica McLendon, Mellanie McLendon and Tiffanie Fletcher. We love you Harry, you are TRULY missed. May you forever Rest In Peace.
