Barchie, Helen Mary, passed away April 6th, 2002 at the age of 77. Born in Providence, Rhode Island March 30th, 1925, she was a resident of Redondo Beach for 42 years. She is survived by her husband, Herbert of Redondo Beach, sons: Herbert (Karen) Barchie of Sunnyvale, Steve (Carol) Barchie of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and George (Rosa) Barchie of Moreno Valley, and daughter Stefana (John) Mirto of Breckenridge , Colorado. Helen was active in the Aviation Strikers Bowling League. She enjoyed coin collecting and visiting with her eight grand children and seven great grand children. Private services were held Wednesday, April 10, 2002. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to your favorite charity in her memory.
