Remembering Howard... From Kathy,  all the fun discussions we would have while traveling.  We could go on and on about the latest movies that were out ... And I remember when I tore my ACL and my husband, Joe, was gone so it was Howard that took me to the hospital for the MRIs.  Thanks to a wheelchair problem, Howard ended up practically carrying me around all day!  He was so sweet !  He took good care of us all.  We really missed him when we moved.Dear Howard- You have left us too soon, but you won't be forgotten.Love, Kathy, Joe, Lauren and Joey Cioffi 

I am very sorry that I did not have the pleasure of knowing Howard in this life. We are distant cousins and we have been distant for years by miles on other sides of the country. After reading more about him and talking with his loving Mother, Bea... I have a better understanding of what a beautiful person he was. ...that he was a devoted and loving son for all the years of his life...that he was highly respected by many for his good work as a trusted chauffeur...that he had many good friends and he was willing to help someone at the drop of a dime...that he loved to live a little of the "high life" and go to Casinos, take his 92 "year-young" Mother and laugh and boast of her good gambling know-how!... that he loved the movies and was known to view three consecutive movies in one sitting...that he had a big, beautiful smile he flashed to many people in his daily life and that he was gentle -spirited, kind and very caring to those he knew and those he would newly meet along his life-path. I understand one friend from Europe spoke of Howard with highest regards by saying,  "I've never met anybody who was such a perfect gentleman...in my country that is the best compliment." ...I see how well-loved and admired my cousin was in his life on earth ...although I am sorry we did not know each other in his time here...I am grateful that he was part of my family and that he made this world a more beautiful place. I didn't know him as well as i would have liked due to living across country but each conversation on phone was a happy experience.He could brighten the day, always positive, and spoke in an uplifting manner. He and his mother experienced much pain when daughter Kathy died but came through on each other's strength's.We will all miss his laughter and huge smile. Seems he past way too soon.
