James A Bussiere

Bussiere, James Allen (Jim) a 22 year resident of Westchester, passed away on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 in Marina Del Rey. Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, James was 55 when he died. In 1972 Jim was commissioned an officer in the Marine Corps and flew for the Corps until October of 1983.

Since then Jim has worked for Raytheon as a Contracts Manager on the B-2 program. Jim actively supported his children by coaching and managing their softball and baseball teams. He also loved to umpire and Umpired for District 37 Little League, the South Bay High School Softball Unit, and recently moved on to the junior college level.

He is survived by Wife, Jeanie Bussiere of Westchester, CA, Father, Eugene Bussiere of Walla Walla, WA, Mother, Ruth Bussiere of Walla Walla, WA, Daughter, Jamie Bussiere, a Peace Corps Volunteer in Moldova, Son, Joseph Bussiere of Portland, OR, Brother, Gary (Candi) Bussiere of Spokane, WA, Sister, Gail Lascik of Spokane, WA, Brother, David (Michelle) Bussiere of Corinth, NY, Sister, Kathy (Dan) Lynch of Walla Walla, WA, Sister, Jeanine (Brian Bradburn) of Newberry Park, CA, and 15 neices and nephews.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 2 at McCormick Mortuary, Inglewood from 5 to 8 pm. The Service will be at Visitation Church, Los Angeles, April 3 at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to "Wonder of Reading Library" Kentwood Elementary School, 8401 Emerson Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045.
