James Arthur Moses was born in the small town of Elmore, Minnesota in 1936 to Arthur Leroy and Anne Irene Moses. He spent his early school years studying, playing football, basketball and running track for Elmore High and playing trombone in the band. After graduation he was accepted into the Engineering program at the University of Minnesota. During his time at the U he met the love of his life, Sonya. They married in 1957 and a few years later moved to Torrance, California where they lived and raised their five children, Art, Mary, Anne, Paul and Daniel. He worked for TRW for 32 years and was a key engineer and manager on significant projects. He enjoyed taking his family camping in Yosemite and periodic road trips back to Minnesota to visit family and friends. After he retired in 1992, he and Sonya traveled the world and spent time with their friends and family.
He adored and cherished his wife, dearly loved his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be deeply missed.
He was 89 years old.
