Murphy, James Semer, 30- year resident of Palos Verdes Estates , passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2002 in Los Angeles. Born in Minneapolis, MN, James was 72 when he died. He was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church and he is survived by wife, Marie ; Daughter, Julia Murphy of San Pedro; Sons, Christopher Murphy of Harbor City, David Murphy of Jacksonville, FL, James Murphy of Palos Verdes Estates, Quentin Murphy of Saudi Arabia, Ryan Murphy of San Francisco and Shane Murphy of San Francisco; Also survived by a sister, Kathleen Murphy of Minneapolis, MN. and a brother, Robert Murphy of Chicago, IL. Memorial Mass will be held at St. John Fisher Catholic Church on Saturday, June 15th at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Catholic Relief Services or Doctors Without Borders.
