James T. Tengan born January 24, 1935 in Makawao, Maui, Hawaii, passed away at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving family, wife, Jean, daughter, Jamie, son, Jason, son-in-law, Michael, daughter-in-law, Coney, and granddaughter, Alex. Jim, as most of friends knew him, graduated from Lahainaluna High School. After graduation from the University of Hawaii, Jim was commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the U.S. Army and served three tours of duty in Vietnam. After 28 years, he retired at the rank of Colonel. Upon his retirement from the Army, Jim worked at the Aerospace Corporation for 26 years. There will be no service as Jim will eventually be taken back to his beloved Maui. In lieu of flowers, you may wish to make a contribution to your favorite charity in Jim's name.
