December 19, 1990 to March 28, 2026
With heavy hearts and profound love, we announce the passing of Janine Gayle “JG” Kuan, a daughter, sister, nurse, and friend whose life, though far too brief, was filled with compassion, purpose, and light.
Janine was born on December 19, 1990, and from the very beginning, she carried within her a gentle strength and a heart that naturally cared for others. For 12 years, she lived her calling as a nurse, not just as a profession, but as a true mission of love. Her patients felt it in the way she spoke, the way she listened, and the way she showed up fully, warmly, and selflessly. Her coworkers knew her as a constant source of kindness, someone who made even the hardest days a little softer with her presence and her ever ready smile.
To her family, JG was nothing short of an angel on earth. She was a beloved daughter to Joel Kuan Sr. and Glace Guido-Kuan, a devoted sister to Joel Kuan Jr. and Jan Rhys Kuan, and a source of joy, laughter, and unwavering love in their lives. She gave freely of herself, offering her time, her care, and her heart without ever asking for anything in return.
To her friends, she was a steady light, genuine, loyal, and full of warmth. She had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and cared for. Many can say they are better, kinder, and stronger because they knew her.
Though her physical presence is no longer with us, the imprint of her goodness remains in every life she touched, every patient she comforted, and every heart she lifted. Her legacy is one of compassion in action, love without condition, and a life beautifully lived in service to others.
She will be deeply missed, endlessly loved, and forever remembered.
Rest peacefully, JG. Your light continues to shine in all of us.
Matthew 5:9
"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God."
Matthew 5:16
“Let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.”
