John Gabriel Beauregard, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and faithful Catholic, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2026, at the age of 87. He was born on July 11,1939, to the late Azarias and Alberta Beauregard and was raised in Detroit, Michigan.
John was a man of faith, family, intellect, and quiet strength. His Catholic faith was a lifelong foundation, guiding him throughout his life and shaping the love and devotion he gave to his family. He remained steadfast in his faith and trusted in God’s promise of eternal life.
John was married to his beloved wife, Nancy, for 64 years. Together they built a life centered on family, faith, and love. He was preceded in death by their oldest son, John Kevin Beauregard.
He is survived by Nancy and their children, David Beauregard and Reneé Ruiz, as well as six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy and pride. He is also survived by his brother, Marcel Beauregard. John was preceded in death by his siblings Rita, Paulette, Bernie, and Monica.
John’s talents and dedication were reflected in a distinguished career in Aerospace engineering. He earned his engineering degree from Wayne State University and later received a master’s degree from the University of Southern California. He devoted 43 years to the aerospace industry, where his knowledge, discipline, and commitment to excellence left a lasting mark.
Though accomplished professionally, John’s greatest legacy was the love he gave his family. He will be remembered for his intelligence, wisdom, devotion, and unwavering faith, as well as for the many lives he touched throughout his long and meaningful life.
As a lifelong Catholic, John now rests in the loving presence of God, reunited with those who went before him. We take comfort in the words of our faith: “Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him.”
May John Gabriel Beauregard rest in eternal peace. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew and loved him, and may his family find comfort in the promise of the Resurrection and the hope of being reunited with him in Heaven.

The Praying of the Rosary will take place on Saturday September 26, 2026 at 10am, followed by the Funeral Mass at St. John Fisher Catholic Church, 5448 Crest Road, Rancho Palos Verdes, California.
