A lifelong resident of Redondo Beach; passed away on Sunday, April 10, 2011 in his home of 70 years. John was 98 when he died; he was a member of St. James Catholic Church. He retired in 1977 from Chevron El Segundo, a valuable member of their team. John was a devoted husband to his most precious wife, Faye Evelyn McLaughlin. He is survived by sons, Patrick Michael and James Francis; daughters, Theresa Faye McLaughlin, Peg Ferguson and Jan Williams; 15 adoring grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00AM, Thursday the 14th at St. James Catholic Church in Redondo Beach. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Culver City.
