Jorge L. Carreno

Jorge is survived by his wife Alma of 18 years, Daughter Marissa (12), Son Christian (9), father Beni, mother Delia, Sister Delia, brother-in-law Gus Dominguez and his loving extended family.

A loving Father, Husband, Son and Brother departed on March 25, 2008.

Jorge came to the United States in 1972. His family emigrated from Cuba to Spain and then, came to California. Jorge grew up in the San Fernando Valley and graduated from California State University of Northridge with a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.

Jorge was a Sr. Electrical Engineer for the Aerospace Industry in El Segundo, CA for more than 20 years.

He was a devoted fanatic of his children's sports and enjoyed coaching their teams. Jorge was also a big fan of the Lakers, Raiders, and Dodgers.

Jorge lived his life with tremendous spirit, a constant sense of humor and a passion for making people laugh and smile. He will always be remembered by his own beautiful smile and dynamic personality. His friendliness, charismatic nature, and willingness to help others earned him the love and respect from friends and family.

Jorge touched many lives and enjoyed bringing family and friends together. He loved to be surrounded with friends and family who will all miss him dearly!
