“ Jose Romero Tolon Sr., a beloved husband, father, and friend, entered into eternal rest on October 14, 2023 at the age of 77 in Gardena, California. He was born on August 16, 1946, in Albay, Philippines, but the promise of opportunity brought him to the U.S.
Jose was known for his love of swimming, puzzles, and tending to his garden.
Jose’s educational journey led him to Ortañez University in Manila, where he pursued higher education as a graduate in accounting.
Jose dedicated 30 years of his life in health care serving as a medical records clerk. A role he fulfilled with dedication and professionalism.
He is survived by his wife Catherine Tolon, and four sons Jose Tolon Jr., JC Tolon, Jesus Tolon, and Joshua Tolon.
He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. His warm and welcoming personality touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those fortunate enough who have crossed paths with him. May his soul rest in eternal peace. ”
