Miss Me, But Let Me Go

When I come to the end of the road And the sun has set for me I want no rites in a gloom-filled room, Why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long, And not with your head bowed low, Remember the love that we once shared. Miss me . . . but let me go. For this is a journey that we all must take, And each must go alone. It’s all a part of the master plan A step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, Go to the friends we know, And bury your sorrow in doing good deeds, Miss me . . . but let me go.

Uncle Joe, you were an amazing man. Always a family centered man, loving and kind to all. Always providing good laughs and stories. It was always a joy to see and spend time with you. I’ll forever cherish our time together and wish so much that you could have met our son. Your memory will forever live on in each of your family members! How lucky we all were to have you in our lives.
Rest in paradise!

Uncle Joe, you were an amazing uncle growing up, always took time to talk with each of us. Always had a smile on your face and your laugh was infectious. You always shared your advice and opinions and I will always have great memories of you. I know your girls were your life and you always selflessly took care of everyone around you. Rest In Peace Uncle!

Everytime I go to Dodgers Stadium I will know you'll be that angel in the outfield blessing out favorite team!!! I really am glad I was able to share great times with you and Jennifer, and of course had to stop and get that chicken rice stuff (extra sauce) after every game, or else Jen would never forgive us haha! Good times. 💙

Joe, you were one of the best men I've ever known. You gave me the gift of your daughter, unwavering support, advice, tough love, and you took me to my first Cowboys game. You will truly be missed. Rest easy. I will take good care of your daughter and granddaughter. We love you Pappa Joe.
