Joseph John Borg

Joseph was born on August 17, 1933, the first-born son and second of ten children, to Anthony and Carmen Borg, in Mellieha, Malta. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 34 years, Mary (nee Attard); his parents; his brother, Louis and his sister, Maria.

He is survived by his three daughters, Yvonne (Clint) Fisher, Sylvia Borg, and Linda Borg (Tim Blake); granddaughter, Nina Borg; sisters, Esther, Vickie, Rita, and Tessie; brothers, Eddie, George, and Vince.

Joseph was a proud Maltese American who loved his family and his faith. He had a strong work ethic, was an avid gardener and was always willing to provide a helping hand when needed.

Services for Joseph will be held Friday, November 8, 2024 at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, 1900 S. Prospect Ave., Redondo Beach, CA 90277 – Rosary at 10:30 am, Funeral Mass at 11:00 am, Reception at 12:00 pm. The committal service will occur Friday, November 8, 2024 at Green Hills Cemetery, 27501 S. Western Ave., Rancho Palos Verdes, CA 90275 at 2:30 pm.
