Joe, growing up you were like an older brother to me, memories of things such as us playing stickball in front of Grammas hitting homeruns off the front of the house across the street flood my mind. While these memories might water my eyes they will always put a smile on my face.

Joseph, my one, my only nephew, my hero. My heart is so heavy with pain it's hard to express. All the happy memories of watching you, Jimmy and Tommy growing up flood my thoughts at this moment and you leave a void in my heart never to be filled. I will miss you nephew of mine. When I Think of baseball "little league" I think of Joe And What a great ball player he was. I always felt lucky to be on his team and later on in high school he made me feel the same way. "lucky" Lucky to be his teamate and his friend.I know we'll play ball again someday. My family and I send our prayers to yours.

To Dee and Mark, Our familes have been together through the good times and the bad times. Our thoughts and prays were with you through out your ordeal and remain with you now.

Joseph, I always looked up to you as another older brother.  Growing up we spent many summers together, there are so many great memories that cross my mind that will always put a smile on my face.  Even though you are gone I know you are in a better place, playing on the most ultimate ball fields and sitting in on the biggest Blitz games. Dee and Mark,      I saw the notice in the paper about Joe and was shocked and saddened for you both...I can't  imagine the grief and pain you are feeling right now.  When I occasionally would run into Mark (how many years ago?), he would always be so excited about his son and what he was doing.  I know that he had to be a great kid because you two are such wonderful people. I don't really know what to say, but I did want you both to know that we are thinking about you.
