It was with great sadness the Barneson family must share the passing of their beloved Mother, Joy Nita Barneson. Having just celebrated her birthday, she left us on August 12, 2009, at the age of 83. She leaves behind her two children, her son Brad, her daughter Debra, her grandchildren Jason, Jamie, Laura and Bryan and her 3 great grandchildren, Emily, Jacob and Noah. She was a loving wife to John Barneson for 50 years. She will be remembered for her zest for life, her laughter, her keen sense of humor and her ability to make everyone smile. She was loved by everyone who knew her and will be deeply missed. The family has planned a celebration of her life with family and close friends. No public services planned at this time, but those so moved may make a donation in her memory to Torrance Hospital Hospice.
