It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Juan Carlos Ciraolo, a beloved husband, father, and friend, who departed this life just one day shy of his 84th birthday. Carlos passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 7, 2025, in Lawndale, California, surrounded by his loving family.
Born on January 8, 1941, in Rosario, Argentina, Carlos brought with him a vibrant spirit and boundless creativity that left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him. The son of a humble and hardworking family, he carried those values into his career in construction and carpentry, dedicating decades of his life to his profession. A craftsman at heart, Carlos found immense joy in working with his hands, whether building structures, fine-tuning details, or creating something beautiful from raw material.
Outside of his work, Carlos’s zest for life was contagious. He was a gifted woodworker, painter, and writer, whose artistic soul found expression in every facet of his life. Whether through his intricate drawings or the heartfelt stories he penned, his creativity was an endless wellspring. He was also a spirited dancer, effortlessly bringing people to the dance floor with his charm and rhythm. A consummate entertainer, Carlos loved cooking Argentine “asados” and meals that brought family and friends together, filling their hearts and bellies with warmth and love.
Above all else, Carlos’s life was defined by his devotion to his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Constanza; his cherished daughter, Cynthia; his devoted son, David; and his beloved grandchildren, who brought immense joy and pride to his life. They will forever carry with them the lessons he taught—of hard work, compassion, joy, and the importance of finding beauty in life’s simplest pleasures.
Carlos had an extraordinary way of making life feel richer, fuller, and brighter. His laughter could light up a room, his kindness left a lasting impression, and his love for life inspired all who knew him.
He will be deeply missed but never forgotten, as his legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him.
Carlos is now reunited with his departed parents, family, friends, and his beloved cat, George, whose companionship brought him so much comfort and joy over the years. Together again, they are surely sharing laughter, love, and the warmth of cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those he left behind.
Rest in peace, Carlos. Your story was one of love, art, and connection, and it will continue to inspire for generations to come.
