Julie was the eldest of four children and was born in Quincy Massachusetts. Julie was the child of an Air Force step-father and as a result at the age of 12 moved to Germany until the age of 16, then moved to Edwards Air Force Base in California and attended Desert High school. After high school she attended UCLA and worked part time at Straw Hat Pizza. She went to work at Games Unlimited, met and married Larry Skinner and continued to attend school. After Games Unlimited, she worked for several prestigious law firms including Manat & Phelps for 10 years, then took the knowledge she gained and applied for and was appointed to a Financial Investigator position in the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office.
Hobbies included Karaoke, Cats, Coupons and Reading.
Julie is survived by three sons, Tyco, Curtis and Rigel, her Mom Betty Anderson, her Uncle Tom Crossman, siblings Keith, Danny, and Christine, and nephews Kyle and Jason and a host of friends and family members who loved her.
