Kathleen Louise Williams

Kathleen Louise Williams, 61 year resident of Los Angeles, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2011 in Torrance. Born in Los Angeles, CA, Kathleen was 61 when she died. Kathleen was a member of Holy Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church. She received her education through the Los Angeles School District and graduated from Compton High School. She was an employee of Wiley Laboratories for many years until she retired. Kathleen's lifelong passion was realized when she opened a daycare called Little Bears Daycare. Kathleen was known for her delicious turkeys and her love for the color orange. The love, devotion and commitment to her family and friends will always be remembered. Kathleen is survived by husband, Larry Williams; son, Brian Browning; daughter, Kisha Moton; sister, Leslie Polk and her brothers, Jack C. Alston, Jr. and Stephen Washington. She was preceded in death by father, Jack Alston Sr. and mother, Katherine Washington. A visitation will be held at McCormick Mortuary in Inglewood on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. The service will be held in the McCormick Chapel on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon with the Repast in the Lighthouse Reception Room from 4:00 pm to 6:00pm the same day. Burial will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery.
