
Of Ken's many accomplishments - he drove a front engine dragster and alcohol funny car. He went on to be a very accomplished and respected Funny Car Chassis Builder. In 1979 he was nominated as chassis builder of the year. He then went on to manufacturing chassis components. He enjoyed playing guitar, and was a fan of the Los Angeles Lakers.
He is survived by Wife, Betty Cox of Bellflower, CA, Daughter, Carrie Hope (Charles Ferguson) of Perris, CA, Son, Kenneth (Stella) Cox of Redlands, CA, Son, Roy Cox of East Liverpool, OH, Daughter, Rhonda (William) Mendes of Downey, CA, Brother, Lonnie Ramsey. Grandchildren: Kathy (Vincent) McCafferty, John Brocius Jr, Billy Mendes Jr.
Amanda Cox, and Jessie Cox. Three great grandsons; Aaron and Vince (Mister) McCafferty, Christian Brocius. Preceded in death by: Mother, Edna Ramsey, sisters, Chloe Huxell, Saundra Bozman
