He enlisted in the Army in 1942 and was stationed at Santa Ana Air Station where he met his loving wife, Mary. In 1944 he battled through France and Belgium as a member of Patton’s 3rd Army. In late December of 1944, he was wounded at the Battle of the Bulge. He was a proud member of our nation’s greatest generation. After the war, Ken joined the Los Angeles City Fire Department, where he served over 30 years. He retired as a Captain in 1977.
Ken loved surfing, sailing and the beach.
Ken and Mary were married, almost 60 years, when Mary passed away in 2002.
