Kristi Dee Tietze-Wurm, who lived her entire life in the South Bay as a resident of both Torrance and Hawthorne, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the age of 72 after a lengthy and heroic battle with both liver and kidney diseases. Kristi worked for Champlain Oil Company for 15 years prior to long careers in both international airfreight as well as long haul trucking.
She is survived by her husband of 20 years Patrick Wurm; daughter Shelli Tietze-Hahn; son Ryan Tietze; daughter Jessyca Troke; granddaughter Kaitlyn Guzman; sister Debbie Geary; niece Lauren Geary; niece Lisa Geary Miller and her great- niece Emma and great-nephew Ashton.
