Barbara and Family!!  I am in New Orleans but my heart and spirit are in Los Angeles with you and the family at Lanny's funeral.  I am truly saddened by his death and will miss him.  I have many fond memories of him growing up in algiers and his visits to N.O for mardi gras, Jazz fest and Essence. It's hard to accept, but I know he is in a better place. May God bless all of the family and give you the strength to cope with this terrible loss of such a wonderful person.
