Lee William Pitman went home to be with the Lord Saturday, September 9th. Born in Los Angeles, April 29, 1944, to Hugh and Ruth Pitman, Lee served the City of Los Angeles as a civil engineer for 35 years before retiring in 2001. He will forever be remembered as a loving and giving husband, father and friend. He is survived by Laura, his wife of 25 years; two children Andrew and Natalie; and his sister, Lois Brown. A service celebrating Lee's life on earth and eternally in heaven will be held 7:00 P.M. Friday, September 15, at Pacific View Baptist Church, 4345 Emerald St., Torrance, California. Instead of flowers, memorials may be given to Pacific View for the Christian and public education of children and youth, causes close to Lee's Heart.
