I remember there was always so much joy and love radiating from Leilani’s room. It was an honor and blessing to be a part of Leilani’s journey. Leilani and her family will always have a special place in my heart.

Getting to meet Leilani was such a blessing. Very few people I’ve met were as expressive as you were. I’ll always remember how happy you’d get during PT when we put on your music and especially when you went on “the spa” machine. Even during the toughest sessions, you’d light up the moment you got on it. Your smile brought joy to everyone around you.

Leilani's smile was always the best part of visiting her in her room! The amount of love that radiated in the room every time I visit was so inspiring and something that I will always remember.  It was an honor to walk alongside Leilani and her family. You all are in my heart, always.

I will never forget Leilani’s smile or her side eye. I loved her spunk and spirit. I am so lucky to have been part of her journey.  She and your family will always be in my heart.

Nani, mi niña hermosa, there are so many beautiful memories with you. From meeting you for the first time to countless visits at home. But my greatest memory is the day of your baptism, the day you became a child of God. Your nina and I were blessed to become your godparents that day, a day I will hold forever in my heart. You and Zoey were so peaceful and happy that day; you both knew what that day meant. The Holy Spirit illuminated your whole life, and that brought you joy. Your beautiful smile, gentle spirit, and the joy you brought to those around you will forever remain in our hearts.

My favorite memory of Leilani is one that will always live in my heart. One Christmas Day of 2023 I was already expecting my baby Ellie. Like many first time expecting moms, I was anxious about my baby’s future. Until I witnessed Leilani give us what I believe was one of her  most prettiest smiles. She looked at her Nino and I and gave us the warmest smile. In that moment, peace overcame me. I knew that my Ellie would be okay no matter what. I believe it was Leilanis’s way of telling me to surrender to God’s will and not worry anymore! In that moment her smile was a reminder of God’s perfection, because that is what  her smile  emitted, perfection!

Her beautiful 😍 smile and sweet disposition and fighting spirit was so precious to experience. She will be in my heart 💗 always. I love you Leilani.😘😘😘😘

My beautiful cousin, my heart is with you during this difficult time. Your precious baby is now in Heaven, safe in God’s arms and watching over as your little angel. Praying that God gives you peace, comfort, and strength. I love you and am here for you always. 🤍🕊️🙏
