Lenore Keenan Ellis

Ellis, Lenore Keenan, a 40 year resident of Winnetka, passed away on Monday, September 5, 2011 in Northridge. Born in New Haven, CT, Lenore was 66 when she died. Lenore was a participating member of Delta Chi Omega Sorority, Retired Teacher's of LA, Delta Kappa Gamma, Pasadena Branch and The Republican Women Association. Lenore loved animals, fashion and travel. She visited many places such as Africa, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. She was a great collector and had many things from her travels. She also had a huge collection of Teddy Bears. Lenore was an active person who loved to work out at the gym and get together with friends. Every summer she went to the beach with sorority sisters. Lenore is survived by husband, Roger Ellis of Winnetka, CA; mother-in-law Marion Ellis of Woodland Hills, CA; sister, Ilona Naczi of New Haven, CT; brother, Julius Naczi Jr. of Wallingford CT; sister-in-law, Bonnie Naczi; nephews, Noel Naczi of Brighton MA and Charles Mather of Kona, HI; and niece, Marysara Naczi of Medford MA. She was preceded in death by parents, Julius Naczi Sr. and Mary McNamara Naczi; sister-in-law LaRita Ellis Mather; and nephew Emmett Naczi. A gathering of family and friends will be held at McCormick Mortuary in Inglewood on Friday, September 23, 2011 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm. The Service will begin in the chapel at 1:00 pm with a reception following from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm in the Lighthouse Reception Room. Burial will be at Inglewood Park Cemetery in Inglewood.
