Leslie Margaret Jones

and Geraldine Jones.

She attended Mark Twain Elementary, Bancroft Junior High, and Lakewood High

School.

After graduating from high school with Highest Honors, she attended Long

Beach City College and later Cal State Long Beach.

Leslie worked at various jobs as an administrative assistant. She especially

enjoyed working in the insurance business.

Leslie lived with and took care of her father and mother John and Geraldine until

their deaths in 1988 and 2004 respectfully,

She is survived by her sister Laurel Hiestand, her brother-in-law Richard

Hiestand, her niece Aimée Balas, her nephew-in-law Bill Balas, and her grand niece

Fiona Balas.

She is also survived by nieces Valerie Hiestand Stuart and Jennifer Hiestand

Burroughs and their children John Stuart, Molly Stuart, Sophia Burroughs, Joseph

Burroughs, Grace Burroughs, Nicholas Burroughs, and Evangeline Burroughs.

Leslie passed away October 30, 2015 at her home in Carson, California.

A beautiful life

that came to an end,

she died as she lived,

everyone’s friend.

In our hearts,

of one we loved,
