Since 1979, Linda had been employed by Loyola Marymount University and before that she worked seven years for LAUSD West Youth Services. She received her BA in 1976 from Loyola Marymount University and received her MS in 1979 from California State University, Long Beach.
In November 2003, Linda was diagnosed with Stage IV cancer and continued until her death to be an ardent supporter of cancer awareness. She participated in a Cancer Support Group for women at Centinela Freeman Memorial Hospital. She was also active in the Center for Ignatian Spirituality's Cancer Mentor Network for Loyola Marymount University employees.
She is survived by her husband Joseph, her Aunt, three brothers, two sisters, three nephews, four nieces, three great nephews and three great nieces. Linda was a loving wife, sister & aunt who believed in living life to the fullest, spending quality time with family and speaking out on cancer awareness.
