Lois J. Diers

Lois Jean Diers passed away 10/7/2026 at the age of 96 in Torrance California. Lois was born in Akron Ohio and grew up in Cuyhago Falls Ohio. In 1957 she moved to Hermosa Beach, Ca with her 2 young children Shelly and Tommy.

Shortly after moving to Hermosa Beach she started working at Hughes Aircraft where she was an executive secretary and then a manager over the data processing department. She retired after 30 years at the age of 55. In 2003 she married the love of her life Donald Diers. They spent the next 35 years traveling all over the world.

Lois was known for being very adventurous, witty, generous, loving, kind and sweet. She spent a lot of time walking at the beach where she lived, spending time with her grandkids and her many family members. She was also an avid photographer and has documented all her travels and family throughout the many wonderful years of traveling and family time.

She is survived by her 2 children and 4 step-children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was preceded by her husband Don Diers.
