Lois was born on February 22, 1922 in Thief River Falls, Minnesota. Lois was the daughter of the late Oscar Eggerud and Ella Eggerud. She is predeceased by her late husband Benjamin Kooba and her daughter Judith Kooba. She is survived by her Son, Gary Kooba and wife Janet, and grandchildren Ben and Trisha of Redondo Beach, CA and her daughter Cheryl Stovall and husband Don, and grandchildren Rachael and Steven of Kirkland, Washington.
She is succeeded in a wealth of memories and immeasurable adoration by many. Lois will be fondly remembered as a high spirited caring and giving individual. Lois was a past PTA president at Beryl Heights Elementary School and a volunteer at South Bay Hospital for over 30 years.
Memorial Services will be held on June 24, 2006 at 12:30 pm at the Lutheran church of the Resurrection at 330 Palos Verdes Blvd, Redondo Beach, CA.
Graveside Services will be held at Pacific Crest Cemetery, immediately following the memorial services.
