Passed away at the age of 76 at her home. A resident of Hawthorne for 41 years, born in Cali, Columbia. She was preceded in death by her husband Mufid Issa Michail.
Lucila and Mufid married in Columbia and had their 1st child Myriam, then moved to Detroit Michigan and had their 2nd child Albert, then settled in California and had 2 more children; son Shaya and daughter Sharon and 3 grandchildren; Christopher, Albert Jr., and Anthony. Lucila was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, singing, and playing the organ. She enjoyed dining with friends and family. Oldest of 12 brothers and sisters, she will be missed by her friends and family. She will always be in our hearts forever. May she rest in peace. God bless her.
Visitation will be held at McCormick Hawthorne Chapel on Friday, September 28, 2007 from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M.
The funeral Mass will be held at American Martyrs Church, 624 15th Street, Manhattan Beach on Saturday, September 29, 2007 at 12:00 Noon.
Burial will follow at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, California
