Luis graduated from North Torrance High School in 1987. His hobbies included foosfall, rc cars, flying kites, and fishing. His passions were his Chevy Blazer, "Mofles" pet dog, and fish tanks. Luis was a fan of the UCLA Bruins and the Los Angeles Clippers.
Luis is survived by his wife, Norma Muniz and their children Angelica and Martin; his parents, Carmen and Rafael Muniz; sisters and brothers Rafael, Johnny, Carmen, Terri, Francisco, and Marisela.
A gathering of family & friends will be held at Rice Mortuary in Torrance on Monday November 1, 2010 from 6 to 9pm. The Service will be held at St. Catherine Laboure Catholic Church in Torrance on Tuesday November 2 at 10:30am followed by a reception in the Lighthouse Room at Rice Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Teresa Garcia in trust of his children.
