Gaines, Marcia A longtime resident of Palos Verdes Estates, Marcia passed away on Thursday, October 3, 2002 at her home in Palos Verdes. She was 82. Marcia served in the Navy during World War II. A nursing home administrator, she served on the L.A. County Commission for Aging for over 20 years. She is survived by her daughter Ginger Gaines of New York Ciy. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 8, at 2:00 PM in the Pacific Crest Cemetery Chapel, 2701 W. 182nd Street in Redondo Beach. Entombment will follow at Pacific Crest.
