Maritta Licad Morales, age 75 of Carson, was granted her angel wings on Jan. 15, 2013. She was born in Philippines and was married to the late Pete Morales. She is survived by daughters: Mariedel & Elizabeth; sons: Joey, Joel, Jonathan, Jovy; and their spouses Lilia, Billie Jo, Arlene, Jane and Jesse; grandkids: Danielle, Mac, Melanie, Maria, Justine, Carla, Jon-Vincent, Marco, JJ, JR, JP, Tyler, Mikayla, Kaile, Joshua & Myla. Her siblings: Bienvenido, Felicisimo, Jesus, Gloria, Conchita, Joe, Rosario and Africa. Viewing will be on Thur. & Fri. Jan. 24-25, 2013 from 3:00pm–9:00pm at Halverson, Stone& Myers Mortuary in Torrance.Celebration of her life will be held on Sat, Jan. 26, 2013 with a final viewing/rosary (12:30pm-1:00pm) and Mass (1:00pm-2:00pm) at St. Lawrence Martyr Church, Redondo Beach followed by a reception at Morales’ residence in Carson.
